Why does my "Unscented" cream or body butter have a smell?

Our body butter & sensitive skin cream use raw shea butter as their base. Raw shea naturally will have a slightly smokey, earthy, nutty smell. This is completely normal for shea. If it smells sour or rotten your shea butter has gone rancid

Why does the body butter/cream I ordered feel gritty?

To put it simply, shea butter is temperamental and temperature fluctuation can cause melting and resolidifying during transit. If melted shea cools unevenly it will result in little hard bits of solid saturated fats. These bits of solid oils will melt at body temperaturewhen you rub it in.

My body butter/cream got warm, now that its cool, it doesn't feel as whipped. What happened?

Our body butter and sensitive skin creams are whipped to a nice creamy smooth feel without adding any extras. If your product is left in a warm area and melts, its still the same great product, it just lost all the air whipped into it and will be more dense when it resolidifies.

Are your products organic?

Our products themselves are not organic certified. However, all of our Mother Earth's products are made with certified organic oils. All oils come with not only an organic certification but are certified sustainably sourced, vegan, and cruelty free. With data for each batch from third party quality tests.

My body butter, cream, or oil is a slightly different color this time. Why?

Our products are made from cold-pressed organic oils. Since they are not refined oils, their color and smell can vary slightly between batches. For instance, our pumpkin seed and hemp seed oils both can range from a golden color to a deep green which can change the hue of our products slightly. This is completely normal with unrefined oil.
